27th Interntional Summer Camp for Young Disabled
Bluestone Holiday Village, Pembrokeshire, Wales
10-17th July 2010
This year the British Association are hosting the above summer camp in Bluestone Holiday Village which is at the heart of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park in Wales. The guests will be staying in beautiful lodges set on a tranquil hill around a traditional village. There are accessible sports and leisure facilities, a health and beauty Spa, village shops with local produce, and a traditional British pub on the village green.
The Order of Malta’s International Camp for Young Disabled brings together up to 450 young members of the Order of Malta and guests with a disability for one week, to share in fun and cultural activities in the host country. The aim of the camp is to provide our guests with an enjoyable holiday which will include suitable activities in a friendly interactive environment. Order of Malta Ireland, will send a group, comprising of 10 guests, and a team of 10 volunteer helpers drawn from members of the Ambulance Corps, members and friends of the Irish Association Order of Malta.
To ensure that as many as possible experience the event, we actively encourage the participation of new guests and helpers each year. This is a great opportunity for young people with a disability to participate in an international event and have the holiday of a lifetime.
